I am making hats for people with cancer. I'm supposed to use a product called "waist shaper" to help anchor the elastic or something. I don't have any and I don't have access to a ride to the fabric store. So, my question is, what is this stuff made of and what would be a decent equivalent? I have a ton of fabric scraps and some interfacing too.
