Okay here goes...

Dark blue represents old front (new back) of shirt, baby blue represents old back (new front)

A. Take your chosen blouse and cut off the cuffs and the collar (save them for something else, they look cute sewn onto a tshirt or worn with a vest)

B. Put on the shirt back to front but DON'T put your arms through the sleeves, tie them around your neck. Mark the highest button you can comfortably close and then cut on a diagonal line on either side so the top part of the back (old front) of blouse is backless.

C. Put the shirt on again and fold the material that comes up to your neck down underneath your bust, inside the shirt (like you would see in a hidden support vest or something, it stops any see through-ness if you're not wearing a bra) I've marked this so you fold the top line of crosses to the lower line of crosses :)

D. Fold the material over on the neckline and carry folding the material of the sleeve, to become ribbon-like straps. It helps if you cut the sleeve on the inner seam beforehand. Then cut off any excess material.

E. This is what the front of the shirt should look like with the tiers tied round the back of your neck.

F. This is what the back of the shirt should look like with the buttons running up your back

Don't throw away remnants of material, I have added bows to mine with the bits I have left and I intend to make a matching headband

Umm.. thats about it, photos of mine which is yet to be sewed are <a href="http://www.livejournal.com/community/craftgrrl/1344350.html">>>>here<<<</a>

Any other questions just ask!!
