I made shorts!

Whoa, another post from me :O Anyway, I finally finished the PAIR OF SHORTS FROM HELL a few days ago. It was my first pair, and everything that could go wrong, did. I made the waist too small so I made it wider and then realized I had made it *too* wide. I sewed the legs together wrong so the bottom looked all funny and I had to take it apart and start over. I had to put the zipper in at least three separate times because I kept messing up, etc etc etc...but I finally finished and I'm so proud ^^ They're like my beach shorts, even though there isn't a beach for miles..and they're almost scandalously short :D Here are two really crappy pics, I couldn't use a flash because then the glare would be too much, but without a flash the pics are almost too dark. Plus I can't hold the camera still so they're all blurry. ^^;




You can't really see in the picture because the colors are all off, but the solid color is a nice light green and the patterned part is almost the same hue. The only thing I may change is the size of the backI love them to bits. ^^

Also, this isn't thriftwhore but I have to point out that the tank top I'm wearing is from the Gap but it only cost $6...gooo cheap stuff!


Also, this is way late (Easter was a long long time ago) but my mom and I made an Easter egg tree and I finally got pictures of it.


This is the whole thing, we just tied the eggs to branches and stuck them inside this basket of fake plants we've had for years.

This is a closeup of my favorite egg..the pattern on it looks like a fairy or butterfly or something :)
