Hi, I'm new
Jul. 1st, 2003 10:27 pmUm, hi, I'm new. And (on the insistance of my friend) I thought I'd share my creation with ya'll. I got inspiration from another wallet that was posted here earlier.
I made this wallet from the side pocket of an old pair of carpenter jeans. I cut out the pocket and then stitched the one side together. I also stitched up what used to be the top of the pocket, to close it in. If you try this, be careful not to stitch up the pocket on the other side! (I hand stitched this, so that explains the crookedness)
This is the front of my wallet. The heart is an iron on patch...which I ironed on...hehe!

Here is the back of the wallet. As you can see, there was nothing here to stitch up.

I used wallet inserts that are made to hold pictures to hold my driving permit, and other neccessary cards. I tried it without them, but the cards fell out. Also, loose change tends to fall out, as the pockets aren't really that small.
