Hi! I just joined this community, my name's Jill. *waves*

Anyhow, I have this coffee table that I am refinishing, and I'd like to do something crafty and strange to it. It is It is natural pine, and I've already sanded it down. The only problem is there are two big heart cutouts in the wood legs, about the size of dinner plates, so I'd have to work with that.

I was thinking about decoupaging magazine cutouts or something on it, but that seems boring. Any suggestions?
I'd love to embed things in the wood, it is fairly soft.
