craftgrrlDragoncon, a major sci-fi convention, is less than a month and a half away! Time to get sewing!
I could really use some ideas for costumes. I was thinking of going with the Greek Goddess thing, but so far all my toga experiments look like a blob of fabric with a robe around the middle.
My other two notions that involve fabric I already have are a comic book character and a Three Musketeer type (for my Boy). So my specific questions are these:
Has anyone ever made their own frog clasps (often used on Asian clothing)? I want to get red clasps to match my trim, but it'd be much easier to guarentee a match if I just made them out of the same trim.
Does anyone know of a site or company that may have a pattern for the 3 Musketeer split cape/tabard? Or has anyone free-handed a pattern for something like this and can give me advice?
