before and after..?

Hey I reconstructed a t-shirt. I need your suggestions. It is not quite finished to me.

a drawstring skirt!



I think the bottom looks really plain. I want to show off that the shirt (now skirt) is double layered. I was thinking maybe an asymmetrical bottom, with the green a little shorter than the gray. But should I hem it? maybe just a zigzag stitch? hmm.
