Making 'paper'
Jul. 22nd, 2003 08:00 amHi there. It's my first time posting. Been reading and enjoying this community immensely for a while now.
I decided to make paper for the first time a few days ago.
so, here they are.
both sides:

Here's the skinny.
I don't have a blender so instead I made the pulp by ripping papers up (newspaper, magazine, tissue, napkins and other assorted scraps) into tiny little pieces.
Then I let them soak for about an hour, stirring occasionally. This is why the final product is so chunky looking.

I knew this would be the outcome. I sort of like them. anyway, I thought I would share.
Any ideas what I should do with them, or, any ideas what I could do if I made newer ones? It's terrible fun! I love handling slimy muck. :p
