all things pink =)
Jul. 23rd, 2003 02:37 pmhiya, i'm new to this community but i'm a long time watcher of the posts, i love seeing people's crafts etc.
anyway, here's a few things i've done recently.
It's one of those 'school desks' with a drawer and a pull out board thing, and the surface is slanty downwards. It was a horrible navy blue colour and my mum was going to chuck it out, but i kept it and painted it pink. I also stencilled some stars onto the top and one on the drawer bit with acryilic paint.
The drawer needs a new handle which i'll put on when i find a nice one. It's on wheels so i just use it as a bedside table or just pull it to the computer and it matches my room now yay. =) very simple craft thing - hope it's okay to post!
Made from scratch, the barbie transfer is from a kids t shirt.
For the lining, i sandwiched strong denim type material between the barbie material and a pink t shirt, so the pink t shirt is what you see inside. :o)
It fastens at the top with 3 tiny snaps.
i've been told i go too far with the barbie thing but...meh. i'll never grow up :p
I bought a kids hairband (the ones made from material) for 99p, cut in half and sewed up to make cute funky sweatbands. :)
