40's theme party???

craftgrrlHello!! My name is Michelle and I have been lurking here for awhile, too timid to post my silly craftiness . . . but I will soon post picture of my newest craft (spider web curtains).
Anyway, I need you fellow crafters help . . . I looked in the FAQ's but did not see it, but I did see great ideas for presents! Its my 19th birthday in a few weeks and I want to have a 40's themed cocktail party, but I need help with crafty decoration/party favors for my apartment. Any ideas?
I thought of cheesy gold decorations in geometric shapes, classic cocktails in martini glasses, oriental influence . . . I need more!!!
