Hi all!
Was wondering if any of you here can offer me a solution towards my growing scrap fabric stash...
I sew a fair bit and as some of you may have experienced, there's always a lot of wastage in cloth [esp if matching diagonals etc...i love striped fabric]...
I havent had the heart to throw em out cos i am such a hoarder. The fabric ranges from woven, stretch, fleece etc etc and range from anywhere between size of my palm to around 1/4 yard square. [i used to have smaller pieces but i had to stop somewhere so anything smaller than my palm gets ....sob...thrown out]..but the orginally small plastic bag has now progressed to a industrial sized bin bag...[my boyfriend uses it as a bean bag to sit on and chat with me sometimes when i sew] I have tried: Quilt making [without too much success..cos i do enjoy nice quilt fabrics] , Doll making [still working on this one] , Heat bags , small bags[purses, totes, handbags, pouches, coin purse etc] and hats [well i havent started but i've kept the fleece in a seperate bag for making into hats for cancer patients etc]

...so i was wondering..wat else can i do with it??

Oh and if u live in australia and think u can find a use for these scraps, let me know. Send me a self addressed prepaid [big] postal bag and i will send u a bagful of stuff. Or if u live in melb australia, u can come pick it up urself from my house. [By the way, Anyone here from melb wanna form a stitch and bitch??]
