We had to put AOL disks in the newspapers one day (my mom and I deliver newspapers), and we had a bunch left over and I've been trying to think of something to do with them. Then I remembered something that someone had posted here. So I took one of them and made ...

I took one of the disks and cut out a circle of card stock and glued it over the front part with the writing, then I decoupaged flowered tissue paper over that. I glued painted wooden shapes, lace, ribbon and sequins over the decoupaged area. Then I tied a piece of lace through the hole in the center to hang it with and then a piece of ribbon through the hole and strung pink and purple beads on it to make sort of a tassle on the bottom. I left the back like it was so it could be like a prism.

I think it came out rather well and I've got a whole bunch of ideas for more.
