Aug. 3rd, 2003 04:51 pmi just finished making some record bowls and spray-painting my light switch plate black (both great and easy projects, might i add) and have now decided to fancy up a plain beige canvas purse. what i want to do is use the same spray paint as i used for the switch plate to stencil an image onto the purse. i have never used or made stencils before and had a question about the material that is used to make them. is it absolutely necessary to buy that special plastic paper stuff or is there something else i can use that is cheaper? i have heard of people using poster board... does anybody know how well that works?
thank you all for the inspiration! :)
