[identity profile] ex-ruination262.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] craftgrrl
Ello, I've been watching the community for a while now and have found it a source of great inspiration, keep it up. I recently bought a spiral bound sketch book with black paper in and have followed swankygrrrl's idea of snipping up magazines and stuff. It's now my scrap/inspiration/reflection book that I can put all the things I like in, and I have no limitation to what can go in there. Something I can open up and flick through and feel glowy about. I also use it to find poses for artwork, as I cannot draw without having something to guide me yet.

Anyway umn, me? I'm Ruin, 19 and live in London, England...moving away from the city soon though, I enjoy most crafts out there but I'm always on the look out for new ideas.

There is a constructive point to this post, I'd like some aid in making safety pin bracelets, they're fairly new on the market and look quite funky, I have tons of beads, and I bought three packets of safety pins at the pound shop and elastic thread. Now..how do I put it all together? I looked closely at the last one I saw in a shop, and thought I knew, but ya know now I can't remember a bloody thing! Blah! Help!
