Bloody England, quite right
Aug. 7th, 2003 12:41 amSooo I found out yesterday that the love of my life is moving to England for a year, and he is leaving in 2 weeks. I'm quite sad as you can imagine.
But on a crafty note, I would like to put together a little package for him to take along. There are already several things I know I will be putting together for this, but I'd like the opinions of those who either live in England or have spent a significant amount of time there. What sorts of things would an American student need? Is there any way I could send him with postage or a decent calling card, or are those things that should be purchased there? What necessities are outrageously expensive there that are relatively cheap here (besides cigarettes)? He will be in York, which is in northern England if that makes a difference... thank you.
