I made a purse a couple weeks ago, out of vinyl! And it was the first time I've ever actually MADE something from a pattern and on a sewing machine. I'm pretty proud of it, especially for a first attempt. There are some places on the lining where you can see that the thread got tangled and I messed up, but from the outside it looks fine. The woman at the fabric store reccommended that I use a really thick thread to sew on vinyl, but it kept causing a lot of problems. But, I perservered! So now I'll shut up and show you my purse...









Yep, there it is. I admire all the things you guys make IMMENSELY. Hopefully someday I'll be at your level.
