hello :)
i was watching HGTV, and the woman used a plain craft box, painted it, then put on a good amount of normal white glue on top of the paint.
she then had egg shells, soaked them in hot water to remove the membrane, and placed them on top of the box. using a craft stick, she broke the egg shells to make a mosaic on the box. then when it was all covered, she painted over the shells, adding water to the paint to make it lighter. THEN she used this shimmery stuff used for crafts. it looked solid, and you put it on with your fingers.
now, i was wondering, has anyone ever tried this?? i plan on going to the store this weekend and buying a small box and such. but i was wondering if anyone had any tips on this?
also, does anyone know the shimmery stuff i'm talking about? she said it comes in many shades. and you apply it with your fingertips.
thanks =)
