craftgrrl | Intro, and my earrings (Reply)

I've been watching this community for months, and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't let me post this morning; turns out I had never actually subscribed! LOL So, here's a short intro:

My name is Kyla, I'm a 22yr old mom of 2 little kiddos (Isaac is 3, Ash is 1). I am an expert seamstress, and I also love making jewelry (I do lots of other crafty stuff, but those are the two I am passionate about). I don't get a lot of time for crafty stuff (I am usually too busy making kids' clothes and diapers, and stuff like that), but today I took some time to make up these earrings that have been sitting on my design board for a few weeks.

I will never wear these, but the beads were done, they just needed ear hooks, so I made 'em anyway.

The turtle earrings are going to my best friend, Laura, to go with the necklace I made her last month.

These sterling silver & sodalite earrings are so cool;o) I made them to practice that wire wrapping technique (I'm getting better, but still not quite *pro* at it yet)
