"Gallery Glass" Question

craftgrrlHi guys. I bought two tubes of stained glass paint at Walmart, brand name "Gallery Glass". On the back, it un-helpfully says "See patterns, kits, and books for complete instructions". The problem, of course, is that I don't HAVE any patterns, kits, or books.
I previously bought one painted glass kit which came with a tiny syringe-type applicator. Does anyone know, should I use that applicator, or a regular brush, when using Gallery Glass paint?
