I made a personalized etched glass frame as a gift for a wedding we went to this past weekend. This is one of my favorite gift to give for a special occasion such as this because it's really easy and personal and fairly inexpensive even though the finished product looks quite pricey :)

I bought a frame and a black matt at Michaels for around $20.00 for both.
Used Armour Glass Etching Cream and a stencil of the bride & grooms' names and wedding date. My husband made the stencil out of vinyl (he works at a sign shop). Applied the stencil to the glass, gooped on some etching cream, let sit for about 10 minutes, rinsed it off and viola! It looks like we took it somewhere to have it engraved :) The etched lettering shows better with a dark background so i put the black matt behind it. I figured it would look great with a black & white wedding picture in it.

I wish the pictures came out better, but hopefully you get the jist of it. It's really hard to photograph a subtle thing like this.

Close ups of the names at the top of the frame and the date at the bottom.
