Hey Ladies! (And Gents)
Sep. 17th, 2003 12:24 pmI have two things... one craft-related and then other just a blatant promo, but the the blatant promo will be behind the ever polite lj-cut. But please do go look, entertainment should follow.
One, I'm semi-new to knitting. All I can manage currently are rectangle shaped things. So obviously, I make a crap load of scarves. I love the way the perl stitch looks. Desperately so. But I want it to look perl on both sides, ala the new skinny gap scarves. How would I accomplish this?
Ok, yo...go join
dr_sarcastra, a hilarious bad/wrong/hideously entertaining advice column for the stars, both bright and dim. Even those who are not stars (i.e. anyone with a smig of humor). Ask for some advice and get wisecracks in return. Think we're not witty enough...talk back! C'mon! C'mon! C'mon! It's fun. And if you hate me for doing this blatant promo please feel free to blast my personal journal with insults and the like. But if you do indeed want to join the community, would you please contact me at JMackowi@depaul.edu? The community is running a contest for new questions and is giving away 6 months paid account time. Love me? Please?
Love and smooches and crafting,
