Halloween is almost here!!! yay! My friends and I are begining to work on our costumes. One of us is going to try and make a "Treant" (the Dungeon and Dragons verson of a Tree-Ent from Tolkien's Lord of the Rings). We are "stumped" (a ha ha ha....) as to the best way to make the bark and leaves look nice.
For leaves I was thinking the fake "silk" leaves, perhaps glued over a green backgound. But, we are trying to think of anything that would look realistic for the bark, other than hot glueing actual bark from a tree (dead of course!) to fabric.
Ideas Anyone? or links to pictures of other coustumes of this type?
