blank books and jewelry
Sep. 25th, 2003 05:25 pmThis is basically a crosspost from my own journal, because I got some positive feedback from the nice people here last time I posted some of my books.
120p / bright white laser paper. high grade, extremely smooth, blindingly white.
I made most of the following by candlelight during Hurricane Isabel.

all recycled materials. coverstock was old recruiting posters for my department. 2-1 to 2-4 have decent writing paper, 2-5 has some really dark photocopies and prints on translucent vellum so it's best if you want to glue things in it and not write on every page.
3-1, paper actually speckled heavier business paper, not French brand paper as listed.
the following 4 are 1/4 size, fat little notebooks. spraypainted vellum bristol covers, text block paper varies.
120p / Mohawk Tomahawk cream white paper (this paper has a great tooth for drawing, velvety, really primo text paper)

blue/green crackled glass 6mm beads. sterling silver findings.
top 3 are varied Indian glass beads. the delicate almost clear seaglass scanned an ugly ochre tint, but I promise it's pretty pale green. nothing irridescent. wire is sterling plate over silver/copper alloy, so hopefully it won't tarnish the way pure silver does. findings are sterling.
bottom bracelet is icy green crackled glass 6mm beads.
