Since winter is approaching there is nothing more cozy than a roaring fire. Here is a crafty idea that makes a great gift for anyone who keeps a fireplace.

You can dip pinecones in cinnamon melted wax and a little sawdust with a few choice chemicals and they will smell fantastic and they will emit different color flames!

Iodized Salt-Burns Yellow
No-Salt Substitute- Burns Purple
Borax- Burns Green

Just dip your pinecones in the melted wax and before it cools roll it in the cinnamon, sawdust and the choice chemical and then let it dry.
