I just picked up a book on origami, and there's a bunch of really neat projects in it that have inspired me.

I want to make a fabric version of one of the complicated boxes. Now, I've seen the Fabric Origami Workshop web site, so I know it can be done.

What I'm trying to figure out is, if I wanted to use this box as a way to serve snacks (it's a multi-chambered box...very cool looking), how would I seal it so that I can wipe it down afterwards and so it doesn't absorb any stains from the food. The web site just starches the fabric. That's not going to save it from stains.

I'm not gonna serve salsa in it or anything that's really messy, but I could imagine wanting to put nuts, cookies and candies in it. I'd just hate to go through the trouble of making such a neat box just to ruin it.

Any ideas?
