iron ons

I've used iron on transfers before........the kind you print the picture on your printer then iron it on to the fabric. They always had a "halo" or border of the iron on medium around the image and i don't care for that look.
Do they make some kind of iron on transfer paper that doesn't leave anything around the picture?
I want to use it for text only and it will look wierd if there's a halo around the text.
