"Memory box"

When I started high school, my mom bought me a special box designed for saving letters, cards, tickets, etc...now, nearly a decade later, that box is kinda full, to put it mildly :-)

So, I looked around and couldn't really find anything like the one I had. I DID have a small, plain brown box at home - and tons of craft ribbon, from when my mom used to do floral arrangements. I used ribbon to cover the top and sides of the box, and decorated the edges in white lace...

I haven't really had the time or energy to do anything too crafty lately, but I'm really pleased with how this came out! It didn't really cost me anything, and only took about an hour or so.
