toothbrush bracelet

craftgrrli bought a toothbrush earlier...to make into a bracelet. i've managed to bend it into a 'C' shape...but it doesn't seem to want to go any further :\ i've had it in boiling water for a while and keep bending it...but it doesn't want to! help!
