Knit Scarf

My best friend's birthday is this coming Friday. I had most of her stuff already, but we were at a craft fair last weekend, and saw those boa type scarves, selling for $46. At the craft fair this weekend, the same lady had another booth, but had dropped the price to $39. Still outrageously priced, i thought.

I don't knit a lot, but this only took me anywhere from 1 to 2 hours each day for 3 days, and i bought two balls of the yarn at a shop here for $7 each, but only ended up using one, and very little of the second. Still not worth $46 :/

I knit it on size 10 bamboo needles, 24 stitches wide, and it's about 5 feet long (long enough to wrap one full time around the neck, and have both ends of the scarf be at waist level)

This is a better representation of the yarn color/feel. I like that you can't really tell that it's knit.

I'll be doing more of them for christmas gifts, because they knit up quick, and the finished product is nice, and if anyone is thinking of making some, Bernat Boa yarn, which i assume is pretty much the same thing i used, only in a slightly smaller quantity per skein, is $3.99 on sale per skein on the joanns website.
