craftgrrl | bottle caps and resin, i think (Reply)

i was on vaca last week and while shopping saw these nifty little bottle caps that had a picture and some glitter inside and were then filled to the brim with what i assume was some kind of resin. it was clear and hard. i'd like to make some of these for xmas gifts with pics of friends, etc inside so my Q is this - does anyone have a brand of resin they like to use? or do you all think there may be a better component to use, i had thought of use E6000 but i don't kow if it'll harden enough, as in stay flexible and be subject to scratching that'd obscure the picture...?
