Hi, I'm Jo. I just joined the community and wanted to say hello. Also, I'm wondering if anyone has any fairly easy knitting patterns they wouldn't mind sharing.

And if anyone wants any knitting patterns, I have one to share as well. It's for a very cute baby sweater -- completely beyond me, but probably quite easy for a more experienced knitter. A friend of mine gave it to me, and I'd be happy to pass it on.

i bought some of the cutiest patterns and such, and i am feeling
slightly guilty because its almost as if i stole em.
i made my boyfriend go with me, and he picked out this cute bowling shirt pattern, and this retro 40's-50's apron pattern.
you know, for when im being cute in the kitchen. *giggles*

thanks so very much for sharing.
and i will post pics as soon as i can.

KOOL AID TYE-DYE T-SHIRTS

Materials Needed:
T-shirt
Kool-Aid packages (different flavors/colors)
Vinegar
Small plastic bowls
Plastic gloves
Rubber bands

How To:
For every color you wish to use, put 1 package Kool-Aid and 1
oz.vinegar in individual plastic bowls. Mix until dissolved.
Using rubber bands, pull and twist T-shirt into different shapes. Dip
rubber-banded ends in bowls (Make sure you wear gloves or your hands
will stain).
Keep rubber bands on and set in the sun to dry.
To set colors, iron on medium-high using an ironing cloth between
shirt and iron. Let set for 24 hours before washing. To be safe, wash
separately first time.
Launder T-shirt as usual and it's ready to wear.
Helpful Hints:
Don't put softener on the T-shirt if you pre-wash it -- the dye will
not take.
