Vintage and Asian-inspired fabrics

Good afternoon, ladies and gents! I've been inspired to make a new throw blanket for my couch/living room and I would like to use vintage-looking and Asian-inspired fabrics. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for where I could purchase such things, maybe online?

I haven't bought any fabric for a while, but I can't imagine JoAnn's having the kind of stuff I'm looking for, though that would be super if they did. Would make this project a lot easier.

Hi-ya! I am new to this community and absolutely LOVE makin' crafts. Everything from sewing, to decoupage, to making my own lip gloss. One of my LJ furr-ends (the lovely Miss lusciousdame) recently posted a link in her journal on how to make an adorable pair of ruffle-butt panties, complete with matching cherry-printed tank. Enjoy!

Clothesline Baskets

I've been a member of this community, I've just been a lurker. This community has so many nifty ideas, it's kept me really busy.

Anyway, I thought I'd share this nifty project I ran across. These are basket made from yarn and clothesline, but they are so easy and look so cool. I made one over the weekend, and even made a lid for it. I'll get a picture as soon as I can.
