I was reading the latest issue of Somerset Studio and the article Vibrant Journals mentioned making a journal out of a recycled hardcover book. Anyone done this before or got the DIY on it? It looked like a really neat idea and I go through journals like crazy sketching out new designs etc for my jewelry.

This collage was made with magazine cut outs and glue. I wish I had a way to make the picture bigger/my scanner scan the whole thing. Down the right side, the lines read like a poem.

so i made the "crocheting is off the hook" buttons today. they are a simple typewriter-ish font on a light blue background and are one inch and pretty snazzy!
