i'm new here. i dont know if this is the right place to ask my question but i'll go for it. its about re-sizing old t shirts. i was wondering if any of you girls knew an accurate way to re size an XL guys shirt to like a Medium in guys. is it possible? or should i just get them altered professionally? let me know what you think.
thank you in advance.

i have decided to make myself a doll, i have been looking at lots of web pages about making dolls, and have decided i really like the one onthis page so i printed out the pattern, i am gonna change it some not really following the direction just gonna make it the same shape, it's my project for today since i normally work today but traded and have the whole day to do stuff for myself, my other project is a knitted bunny i wish i had a camera so i could post photos when i am done, oh well, back to sewing and knitting

I have this pleated skirt that's slightly too big for me. I was wondering if there was anyway to make the waist smaller and maybe shorten the skirt as well. Any ideas would be appreciated. ^_^
