Hey y’all-

any clever ideas for two license plates in fairly good condition? I thought of a notebook, but I have a slew of note books. Also I thought of a bag (sewing them on a bag) but neither idea appeals to me. I turn to you for your expert opinions.

Okay, I've been thinking about starting a purse-making business and I need some market-research type feedback.

Go here:

  • See the two purses? Without paying too much attention to the descriptions where I detail the material costs, what would you pay for either of these?

I'm thinking of some sort of set-up with online ordering; all items would be pretty much one of a kind, each different in some way, nothing mass-produced, all hand made. Styles would range from knit items (fully lined); fabric bags, probably made with rare or vintage fabric; a variety of flowery straw bags as pictured on the website; and possibly some cigar-box purses if I can find a source for the boxes.

I'm just trying to get a grasp right now on whether it's a viable business endeavour; that is, can I do this and actually turn a profit.

Any feedback you might have is welcome.

I want to make a handmade mini book that I can use for a project for nervousness.org, and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas or suggestions for making mini books. I like the accordian style books but I'm open to any suggestions. It just needs to be postage friendly and pretty simple to construct. I'd also like to stay away from using staples and other traditional methods of making books.

Any Directions/Templates/Websites would be really helpful and much appreciated.

    heeeeey crafty kids!

my sister and i made the neatest things with those glass globs the other day. (magnets and pins), and we were talking about possibly trying to make jewlery out of them. we were trying to brainstorm, to see how we could mount them (mostly for necklaces and bracelets. rings might be too difficult), but we came up with no ideas. so my plea is this:

to all of you jewelry makers out there, how could we go about mounting these roughly 1/2 inch glass globs? any and all suggestions would be welcome. also, any websites with supplies/ideas/information about this would be amazing. thanks so much. :D
