pics of lynne's dreads! )

they're in a mixed up order but at this point i don't care. the dreads took all day and about 6 bags of jumbo braid in blue green and brownish black. im so excited that they turned out as well as they did and that lynne loved them. i really want some synthetic dreads of my own now. despite them taking so long to do, and my back hurting SO MUCH, i really loved doing them. they were very rewarding. now i just have to clean up the hectic mess in the tv room!

I have a friend with a Sphynx breed cat (a few older pics here). I want to make it clothing so it's not quite so chilly in the winter.

He says she will get to be 8-10 lbs.

So, can anyone help me out with a sweater pattern for an 8-10 lb. naked cat? I don't know the names of the stitches when crocheting, but I do know how to crochet. I'd also be willing to knit if anyone could point some books out to me. Really, I'd be best at sewing, though.

Besides, I can't resist the concept of making "sweaters" with cute "bald" and "furless" sayings on them or out of faux fur.
