ok so i'm sure this is probably just me being hopeful and making things up.. but is there any type of place that you can go - and pay and use a sewing machine? like a ymca for crafters?
i just moved out of the house and had to leave my mom's sewing machine behind for her... and i want to hold out till christmas to get my own but i dont know if i can make that happen.. so umm.. yea.. if anyone has any ideas let me know.

also - i just moved to boston. does anyone know where there are any craft stores?

hi! i'm a new member but i've been lurking around for a while keeping an eye on this place... i was wondering if anyone here is fab at knitting and if you'd be willing to knit this kitty ear hat for me if i paid you? i can't knit at all but i just looove that hat!

i love all sorts of crafts but at the moment i'm really into beads and bracelets.

thanks for all the great clay project suggestions. I made a dragon but someone knocked it's head off before I could bake it. then yesterday I made this, baked it, and painted it this morning, all with a little help from my dog. :)
