I'm currently working on a gift for a special pal
really, its all very abstract at the moment...I know it's going to be a small book....a book of happy things....poetry (some original, some not), prose (again, some original, some not), and photographs (all of these will be original...well as original as i can make them...)
Basically, the book of happy thoughts is going to be a gift for said person after they get out of rehab. So, if anyone has any 'happy thoughts' to share, leave a comment :) I'm really not looking to focus on the 'you just got out of rehab' aspect of things, i'd like for it to be a more of a 'i think you're a special person' kind of thing (as corny as that may sound)
Also, does anyone have any tips or links for making a small book? nothing too spectacular, something simple....probably bound with ribbon...
And have I mentioned that I LOVE THIS COMMUNITY!! :)

I have a bunch of pin-up girl trading cards (about thirty). Most are Gil Elvgren prints, but I also have about six Bettie Page cards. Does anyone have any idea of what I could do with them? Maybe framing them? I don't want to get glue all over and ruin them, but I thought some of you crafty gals out there might have some ideas for a project. Any suggestions would be appreciated :)

Okay my room. I want to decorate my room. So far i have posters covering my ceiling, the shiny backs of cds on my wall in dif. patterns, and my wood furniture turned into a collage of photographs. So any ideas? What does your room look like?

O one more thing. Q-tips...i have a bunch of q-tips. What can i make with q-tips?

For Christmas I'm planning on making handmade things for my friends. I don't know how long it'll take me, so I'm starting now, just in case.

Anyway, I really really need some of that stuff that transfers photocopied pictures onto fabric. I can't remember the name of it at all. I figured SOMEBODY in this community has to knowe where they sell it.

I live in London, so English places where its sold would be the most helpful. But I can still quite easily get my dad to bring me some from America if that's the only place I can find it. Just... if you know where it's sold, would you mind enlightening me?

anyone ever made a wallet? or have a pattern for it? I saw some in the store yesterday and they didnt seem all that difficult to make. Im thinking the small, velcro, tri-fold ones.

i want to make some clear charms for necklaces that have real dried flowers inside of them.

is there some product i can buy that is like the glass marbles, but in flat sheets?

i figure i can glaze flowers onto them.
