hey there craftgrrls!

so here's the deal: i've been thinking maybe we should have a thread on the FAQ which pertains to various crafting areas/vocations which each of us excel in.

let me explain: i'm thinking a 101 section in the FAQ. each topic would be filed under this section and it would tell the basics and describe each crafty area.
for example = knitting 101 would describe basic stitches, popular projects, how to select and use needles, etc.

Hey everyone, I am having a bit of an emergency!! Ok so who better to ask then the crafty girls themselves, right?

Ok I bought some shoes yesterday, well stupidly today, I spilled nail polish on them and well now there are these hideous purple/pink lines/splashes on my new shoes.

Ok so HOw can I remove nail polish off of that satin-y stuff that they use to make heels out of and such? Can I get it out? HOw? Remember ladies, for me time and money is a big issue here.

Question 2, what can I do if I can't get it out? I would paint the rest of the shoe, but well the purple/pink look isn't quite going with my outfit...

( ohh and i got pictures of the emergency.... )

oh god.... heeeeeeeeelp! remember I don't have all the time in the world ( I have till Tuesday) and I don't have much and well very very little money... what can I do?

How do I put words on a binder but not leave it permanently?

...I mean...for example. I'm decoupaging some pictures onto my binder for a project with modpodge.
And I need to put words onto the binder saying "Career Portfolio" on it...and my name.

...I WOULD decoupage that as well, but I want it to come off later on...
OR I can decoupage it and just after I get my project back, decoupage OVER it ...

Do you have ANY ideas? ...I need help NOW! It's important!!! Due tomorrow =X
