i've had this arrow from BK over my door for about 4 or 5 years now. apparently the company was changing their signs at the drive-thru and were throwing out the old ones. by sayig arrow i mean the big square plastic sign that goes with another in the metal-case-light thing. i hope that made sense. anyhow if you know what i'm talking about please give me ideas on what to do with it!!! thanks in advance =)

Blocking

I finished a scarf and it's curly. I know how to block, but considering its length (over 5') I have no clue what to block it on... is it possible to block one section at a time on.. piece of wood or something? Or.. to block.. against a wall?

What surfaces do you guys use for blocking?

i've been watching this site for a LONG time, and getting so many awesome ideas from it! I made an awesome silk screen t-shirt that i really wish i could show ya'll, but i don't know how to post pics. can someone enlighten me? Its a give a mouse a cookies shirt and the front has the mouse and the words "if you give a mouse a cookie" and hte back has a pic of the mouse with the glass of milk. very cute. i like lot. hehe--i'm actually wearing it now!

ok- quick question: does anyone know how to make a pair of pants a tiny bit longer? They are cords so i don't know if that makes it harder or easier or the same... I just have cute pants that I wanna keep a little longer!

Painted Tv.

Below are pictures of the Tv and Tv stand (night stand) I painted. The ribbon on the front of the Tv stand is checkerd and the flower is light purple (hard to tell in the picture) On the side and top there is black and white comics from the paper, and on top of that is a few comics from Peanuts.

The thing on the front of the Tv is part of a "My so called life" advertisment. I'm thinking about adding sequins to the front of it, I don't really like the MSCL thing on there.

hey I want to say thanks to everyone who gave me the great ideas for things to make for my bf. I actually ended up making him a pyramid studded vegen cuff, a per-zine, a card, and a fold out rant thing....oh yeah and 5$ and a bagel...:) I guess it worked out well. Thank you all soo much.

Ive been a member for a while and I just wanted to say that you girls (and guyss =)) have some pretty kickass projects. I just finished painting my ceiling fan and I was all excited that I was going to be able to share it with you people, and my digicam's batteries died..not cool...so I put them to charge up, and hopefully I will have a picture to post here for you guys tomorrow. Thank you for all the great ideas and all the great pictures you all post. Keep up the great work!!
