I finally finished knitting my first arm warmer and cabling project! Now, I just have to finish the other one.

I had this neato idea of making a bag/purse, then glueing puzzle pieces on it (the whole puzzle completed) so from afar your bag just looks like it has a kitten on it, but BAM! when you get closer you discover its a puzzle. Is this possible to actually make? If theres anything wrong with this post or its not allowed, I'll delete it. Thanks!

Hypothetically speaking, what would happen if someone ate food out of a record bowl?

Okay, so. I got a linoleum carving set thing for Christmas. Ya know, you carve a design into it, then use it to stamp onto clothing and whatever? I think I've got the general idea for the carving, but does anybody have any cool design ideas? I can just use a stencil design for the pattern too, right?
And so it isn't text-only:

First time post. Hello to all your talented selves. Merry Christmas if that is your holiday persuasion. If it isn't, nothing says you can't have a nice day anyway.

Anyway, I made a purse.

I made these, what I am calling scarflets but I don’t know if that is a real word. You could also call them neck warmers…

Hi everybody! And happy holidays!
I thought I'd share some of the holiday crafty things that have been made.

This was made by my aunt for my dad... but it's the most impressive thing here. Inspired by "A Christmas Story."

I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to whoever it was that posted about chocolate spoons a while back. I made some for my mom & sister for Christmas, and they were a huge hit. I was even called "as crafty as Martha Stewart." Whoa! LOL

Merry Christmas, Craftgrrls!

Hey! I have two questions, any help would be greatly appreciated.

1.) I bought a vintage bathing suit on eBay, and it's white, so duh me, you can see through it. Can I just add nude swimsuit fabric underneath? With that camoflauge my "goods"?

2.) I have a bunch of old basketball jerseys from my ghetto days. They are like tents though since I wore everything huge. My brother wants to wear them, but he's very slender. How would I go about reconstructing them for him? I'm just worried since the material is silky, and has those small holes in it.

Thanks muchly! Hope everyone had a nice holiday! :)

Does anyone know anything about glueing rhinestones on a bathing suit top? Which glue should i use? and are there any special instructions?

knitters of the world:

when you knit your hats, do you purchase the pom poms that you put on top, or is there a way you can make them yourself? ive never put one of top of a hat of mine, but i feel as though the time has come.

(hope everyone had a lovely christmas and got lots of materials and tools!)
