I got tired of ants getting into my honey, so I made this from an empty oatmeal container and some digital tomfoolery:

I covered it with clear Contact plastic shelf liner. The ants are brooding.

Upon seeing a picture of an attractive member of the appropriate gender wearing nothing but a sweater and a come-hither smile, your first thought is "Ooh! Neat cables! I wonder what I could use them in..."

(I've been clipping inspiration pictures out of old magazines this morning)

(and they really are neat cables)

Ok... now that my computer has offically irritated me and deleted the entire post I just typed..... grrr...

Yesteday I posted wanting to know if it was ok to post about a crafting donation cause. It seems as if it's ok... again, if it's not, I'll remove it.

For all information on the cause I've joined, Hat's For Alex please go to the following links ( I typed a bunch of info, it got deleted, my fingers hurt and I'm not typing it all again, lol)

Hats for Alex go to hatsforalex.org

Hats For Alex - St. Louis Branch (The branch I started, St. louis or Missourians go here) go to stlhats.webs.com

I tried to put the actual links in but again, my computer is retarded.

If anyone knows where to find a gate-fold (bold/deep) purple card I would be forever indebted. Online or a real store in the northwest would be awesome. Thank you to anyone who can help!!

This is by far not my greatest work ever, but I whipped it up in about 2 hours.. yes I am a slow sewer, but that included eating food and being generally distracted with any shiny object.  Anyway, I made it for a friend,, I hope she likes it!  Oh yeah, it is padded with batting and lined with felt.

I'm very sorry!  I'd forgotten that this was not one of the places I could post blatant plugs for my shop.

Still, I want to show off my stationery!  I plan on making free stationery soon, but for now, this is all I have:

Does anyone else make stationery?  I wanna see, if you do!

So, I've got a bunch of pics behind the cut here, but they're not big pics. Some are Valentine's Day stuff, some are just some random stuff I did. Anyways, enjoy! )

I want to knit some very simple sweaters to donate to our local SPCA to keep the puppies warm. Like these:

Any of you have a good, simple pattern? Or even a simple pattern for one I could machine sew out of fleece?

Also, (so this isn't just a question type post) here's my first-ever skirt I made. Crappy photo. Black fabric with pink skulls. Now that I've worn it I think it's too long and shapeless, so I'm about to try and shorten it so I can wear it with a petticoat peeking out. I'll post the 'after' photo if I'm successful.

I finally finished my swap plush! His name is Big Red. We have tons of beautiful redwood parks around so I thought he would be perfect for this swap,"where you live" :)

Hey Grrls :)

I made this skirt from a pair of pajama pants that I didn't want anymore. All handsewn (my sewing machine makes me angry), dyed, and then stenciled. Hope you like!

Im at it again. =3 I found a screen-like placemat at the dollar store and decided to get a picture frame to go with it....My nickname is Bunny, so I decided to make a slight bunny motif. I also made it black blue and grey to match my bathroom. =) Now that I've gotten my life story out of the way, have a picture! =D

It's been a long time since I've made anything, and I don't think that I have posted any jewelry that I have made on LJ yet so, here goes! The green pearls were a gift from my best friend who got them in Spain when she went for spring break. The second photo shows the green of all the beads the best.

More pictures! )
