What exactly is "Needlecrafts"?

Hi Folks,
I am working on a needlecrafts book, and am trying to figure out whether or not some things are considered needlecrafts. Knitting, crochet, cross-stitch, embroidery, sewing, and quilting easily fit in. What about spinning, weaving, tatting, bobbin lace, or beading? I'm not sure where the line is drawn.
How do you all define needlecrafts and what do you think it includes?

Hi everyone.
I just had a quick question...
Do any of you collect crafty things just for the heck of it?
I'm in this faze of wanting all things vintage/antique sewing related like:
needles
Singer machine parts
pin cushions
darning tools
etc.
Then putting them in frames/shadow boxes with old lace or fabrics in the background.
When we move into a house and I have my own sewing area, I plan to get a large pretty bookcase/custom display cabinet and putting antique sewing machines on it to show off their beauty. I just love the look of the OLD Singers and Dressmakers. I have an old Dressmaker that I was using till I got a new machine and want to display that but it's HEAVY! Like 20 lbs or so. LOL.

( they look like this )
however, i would like them to be a little fancier but no rhinestones if possible. i found some covered in rhinestones and they were just too expensive for me.
i need about 175 buckles total (wedding invitations yay!) and they need to be 5/8 inch or smaller.
anyone have any ideas where i should look??
(xposted to a few places.)
EDIT: i forgot to add that i need them in gold.

okay...i looooove the look of girls with the offset ponytails and the huuuuuge hair bows...
or the huuuuge flowers...
my question....
what is the easiest way you have found or know of to attach these in to your hair? what kind of barret? or is it bobbypins? or what???
and do you have a picture or a link to it or know exactly what they are called. I just wanna make some and have them around for nights of dancing and especially summer drinks and dining outside on patios.
TIA!!!

I finally got around to making Lily and Eddie Munster! I'm very pleased with how their dresses turned out... I gave them Lily's classic sleeves that are bat wings when their arms are raised :)
