I hope this doesn't count as a buy/sell post, but I've had terrible luck bidding on Scrabble tiles on Ebay. Does anyone have a set or even individual letters to sell directly?

Mods, please delete if inappropriate...I'm just so frustrated that I can't get my hands on these things!

Time for another cozy post!

So it was definitely the high point of my day yesterday when [info]proto_zombie  told me the good news that his Robort had arrived safely! I'm always really worried when I send mail overseas. I've had a few packages that haven't arrived at all, so it's a bit nerve-wracking for me, but I'm glad Robort made the trip safe and sound.

For those uninitiated, this is Robort:

Robort! )

Meet Robort. His main goal in life is to protect your phone, keeping it nice and safe and cozy from the outside world.

He's made of polar fleece and felt details, with embroidered buttons. He has a belt loop so he can be taken everywhere, and a little charm buddy. The inside is, of course, micro fleece because I seem to be far, far too addicted to that stuff.

any ideas?

I'm cleaning out my wardrobe, and there are a few t-shirts that are unwearable (holes, stains, etc), but I don't want to get rid of them because I really love the graphics on them.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can save the graphic from my t-shirt and wear it in another way, since I can't wear the shirt itself anymore?

Or should I just give up and buy a new shirt?

I'm interested in making some pendants using resin and i've looked through the memories but all the supply recommendations seem to be US based.

Is there anyone here from the UK who could recommend what kind of resin I should buy and where I could buy it?

Thank you :)

Hi :) I've been teaching myself to sew (just by hand, not with a machine) and came up with these goodies. (Warning, the pictures are small and crappy because they're from my phone, as my camera is broken.)

Crafts ahoy! )

A girl i go to church with is having a baby shower. She's decided not to find out what she's having(although she thinks shes havening a boy)...I wanted to keep my gift unisex, but the colors I ended up using are a bit boyish I think. But, whatever. I think it turned out great!

Acrylic on two canvases. I'm not happy with this photo of it, though. LOL. The photo looks like crap!
