ATX Crafters?

I just recently moved to Austin, TX. Recently as in like two days ago. My husband works all day out of the house and I am going to be home alone a lot. I am looking to see if there are any nearby crafty people who might want to come over and play in my studio that I am setting up.. =-)

We are located in the Riata apartment village, in Wood Trail. Anyone from this community anywhere nearby? I'd love to have some local friends - I left all of my crafting buddies back in California. =(

If you're local, let me know what you do in terms of crafting and maybe we can hook up :D

OMG! I had to most fun making a monster pillow today! Hee hee! It came out so dang cute, I was running around my house showing it off … even to the dogs! The dogs did not seem too frightened … of the pillow.

I finally finished the pocket shrines I was making for my husband. And with not much time to spare. I finished them two days ago, wrapped them yesterday and gave them to him for Father's Day today.
