terrarium

i got bored the other night and made a terrarium after i bought some venus fly traps from the local grocery store. they require more than 50% humidity to survive so i figured they would do well in a terrarium as long as i left it open during the day for bugs to get inside and kept it in my kitchen window. i live in texas so we don't have a lack of humidity down here! i decorated the inside with some shells and a few plastic babies i found at the craft store.

so, my friend's birthday is next friday, she's suuuper in to star trek, having a tng themed party, the whole deal, and i plan on making her a snow globe with this really awesome star trek confetti i just bought off of etsy, that is, if it's here in time. however, i'm looking for any ideas on how to make a snow globe as i have no idea at all how to go about this. anyone who's done it before or just has suggestions, the input is welcome. thanks ladies!

I have a question and I will post some things to appease all your eyes :D

Question: I was thinking about crafting my own capiz shell chandelier. I can find capiz shells for $26 for 100 but that's not the problem. I can't figure out how to assemble the actual frame and light! My technical side is not so fabulous. So any ideas?

its impossible so i was wondering if anyone knows of any patterns to make one?

The question is, what is the picture I took this from called? I am pretty sure its by Ivan Bilibin, but the computer I saved the image onto to make the pattern has since died horribly & it doesn't seem to show up on google or google image search. I would really like to find it again.
