Does anyone know where I can find information online about quilting a photo album?  I have this one pattern that has one of the three supplies as "quilted material", but I have no idea what it's talking about.  I tried googling that and I now know where to buy supplies, but I still don't know how to come by "quilted material".

Any help is appreciated.

Every one of us has a perfect match somewhere, someone who either helps us keep secrets, or helps us open ourselves so others can see our beauty... whether it's a sibling, a friend, or a sweetheart.

I am looking for a simple dress maker's form to display my recently finished projects on (right now, all I have is a floor lamp and a lamp shade) and to possibly use to see what my works in progress might look like when they are finished.

Does anyone here know where I can get my hands on an inexpensive dress maker's form? Everywhere I've looked they are over $150!

Thanks for your help!

I have a quick question.

I love knitting, and am working on a few Christmas gifts. I am still pretty new at it, but getting better.

My question is, I have carpel tunnel, though not horribly (yet). The problem when I knit is that after a short period of time, my fingers and wrists start to go numb and I have to stop for a bit.
Does anyone else who knits have the same problem, and what do you do to prevent it? I hate that it takes me so long to finish a project because my hands hurt too much.

Thanks!!

A friend just sent me a bunch of plastic doll heads that have partial shoulders (all those fancy posed kinda-victorian young lady faces) and I want to use them for monster projects...

I'm kinda stuck as to how to attach these to a plush furry body without any kind of gluing or messup showing...

halp?

Temps in the low 70's, fleece sale at JoAnn's, and a lonely sewing machine have convinced me to dust my Crafty Hat off and re-introduce myself back into this muchly missed community.
