My husband has a ton of vintage comic books, and he gave them to me to make stuff out of instead of throwing away.

The question is, what do I make?

I've already made one pair of earrings.
Any suggestions?

Ahoy!

A couple months ago, I knit my first pair of socks, just to see what the big deal was. Because, seriously, you can buy a pack of 4 for $10, why knit them?

Oh, that pair of purple, nearly to short socks changed everything. I totally get it now. They are like hugs for your feet, and they are kind of a nice secret luxury. Unfortunately, all my other socks are inferior now...

So I must knit!

The pattern is up here: http://needyl.com/knitting/o-socks

I'm starting a sit and knit program where I work (the public library). We're going to have someone come in and teach a group of ladies ages 17 and up how to knit. The only problem is we're having trouble finding some place that sells knitting needles in bulk. Do you crafty grrls have any ideas?

We got a pug puppy about a month ago and it's been SO HECTIC...but I've managed to still do a bit of creating none-the-less.

Here are some pieces of jewelry! )

Thanks for looking!

ALSO! A question for you crafty grrls...:P Is there a website that you know of that sells modern/neat patterned paper for cheap?

Normally a single image, would print in the center of the paper, and the entire page of paper is then wasted when you cut the image out. How do I make an image print going from one image square in the middle of the page, to there being  the same image but multiple times. Like this if you will. *  *  *  *  *  *  *  *  *  *

Also how do I make my printer print, an image on the top of the page, then turn the same page upside down, and now you'll be printing on the bottom of said page opisit of the first image, like this so there for you're getting the most out of one sheet of paper as possible.. Detailed answers please.

Howdy! Long time lurker, first time poster.
Today I thought I'd share with you all a plushie I made based on a World of Warcraft creature known as a void walker. Someone expressed an interest to see a few days ago so I thought I would share :D so without further ado, I introduce...Zagorg, or "Gorgie" as I like to call him.

He's just chilling out waiting to devour some souls or something... there are a few more pics hidden here )
