I asked a couple of questions here this month about making plush monsters. I think they turned out pretty well. Click behind this cut to see pictures! )

hi, crafty ladies. i want to make some postcards from photos i've taken on my travels. i've been looking around at different sites that do this, but was wondering if anyone here had any experience doing so. if so, i'd like some reviews of sites you have used (quality vs. price, design options, etc). if you have a good diy method of creating postcards from photos, i'd love to hear that, too!

thanks in advance!

Hi! I have a quick question I hope someone can answer. I just got all the supplies to start making resin pendants, but I just noticed on the packaging that the molds for them require mold releaser spray before putting the resin in to help the mold release the resin. I didn't see any mold releaser at the craft store, so I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a substitute for it, maybe cooking spray?

If this topic was already discussed, I apologize.

There's a dress pattern number I can't quite find, any help? :[

It's either a McCall's or Simplicity pattern, and it has a square neckline, an empire waist and an a-line skirt. It has sleeves that you can either make puffy or straight.

The closest thing I found was McCall's 5039, but that's not it. It's VERY similar but without the elastic I think and it's not gathered.

Thanks in advance!

First Needlepoint Project - NSFW )

I have no idea what my next project will be but I loved working on this one. I'm thinking about doing a squid for my boyfriend. Anyone have any other cool ideas for needlepoint projects or want to share some cool ones they've done/have seen?

So my goal for 2008 was to complete 50 craft projects, and I'm very happy to say that I did. Instead of spamming you with all 50 projects here, I'll post one part. The rest are posted in my journal if anyone is interested.

There are a lot of pictures under here, so be warned.
