Hi there,
I'm writing in the hope others might have some experience in this area.

I'm being given the opportunity to run some workshops at a community eco centre as my crafts primarily are made from reused/recycled products. I have been asked to provide costings for materials per person.

How do I factor in the cost per person for materials?

For example: recycled shopping bags:

-bedsheets and reused fabric (sourced and bought by me over various years)
-thread, pins etc
-sewing pattern and instructions made by me-no idea how to charge for this!
-use of sewing machine and materials such as scissors
-tea, coffee and snacks

Obviously this doesn't include my time. I was looking at roughly $25-$30 (australian dollars) per participant with all materials covered. It would also allow me to factor in buying tea and coffee, making afternoon tea,my cab to the centre and some payment for my time.

Am I on the right track?

For my mom, and two of her friends, handmade felt flower brooches (with crystal centers and - in the case of the poppy - some embroidery), inspired by this tutorial:

For two of my friends, handmade crystal jewelry sets, more handmade felt flower pins, and holiday Kit-Kat tucked into some cute makeup pouches that I found on Etsy:

I have an iron-on transfer that I picked up at a LittleBigPlanet store in Manchester. The transfer feels like cloth - it has a tissue/soft cloth front, and the back is stiffer. The transfer appears right side up on the soft front. However, I have absolutely no idea how to get this to transfer. The stiff back doesn't peel off, and just ironing it isn't doing anything. Help before I go insane!

I really want to learn how to make jewelery.

Soo if you have any good jewelry tutorials can you send them my way?

And a long time ago I read about some kind of medium, I think it was like paper you cut into a shape and I think bake it and it turns into plastic?!?

Thank you, Victoria.
